How Wonderful …

Psalm 133:1-3 NLT

[1] How wonderful and pleasant it is when brothers live together in harmony!

[2] For harmony is as precious as the anointing oil that was poured over Aaron’s head, that ran down his beard and onto the border of his robe.

[3] Harmony is as refreshing as the dew from Mount Hermon that falls on the mountains of Zion. And there the LORD has pronounced his blessing, even life everlasting.

Reflection …

What is it actually like to live in harmony?

Some would like to think that it means living in community with no conflict, no difficulties, or differences. Living in harmony is rather having the attitude and perspective that we are all broken and in need of God’s grace, the love and healing we receive by looking to Jesus. In Him, we can live in harmony, not without difficulties or differences, but growing together with Jesus as our Good Shepherd and healer.
