Into Practice …

Unity …

John 17:20-22 NLT

“I am praying not only for these disciples but also for all who will ever believe in me through their message. I pray that they will all be one, just as you and I are one-as you are in me, Father, and I am in you. And may they be in us so that the world will believe you sent me. “I have given them the glory you gave me, so they may be one as we are one.

Reflection …

Jesus prays for His disciples to be unified. It’s a characteristic of believers that identifies them as authentic children of God.

Let’s take a few moments to pray this prayer . . .

TODAY, LORD, I pray for unity with family members, with other believers, and with all who know you. May we be one with the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. May our unity show the world, Jesus, that you came from the Father, and may others be drawn to you and experience your love.*
