Reflecting on God’s Word …

He is Creator, The Word …

Psalm 119:89-96 NLT

[89] Your eternal word, O LORD, stands firm in heaven.

[90] Your faithfulness extends to every generation, as enduring as the earth you created.

[91] Your regulations remain true to this day, for everything serves your plans.

[92] If your instructions hadn’t sustained me with joy, I would have died in my misery.

[93] I will never forget your commandments, for by them you give me life.

[94] I am yours; rescue me! For I have worked hard at obeying your commandments.

[95] Though the wicked hide along the way to kill me, I will quietly keep my mind on your laws.

[96] Even perfection has its limits, but your commands have no limit.

Jesus is one with God, The Creator! (Colossians 1:15-20)

Jesus was with God in the beginning, The Word who spoke things into existence! (John 1:1-14)

God revealed himself in his Son. And his Word is his love letter to us, calling us to come home to his heart. Jesus declared who God is and showed God’s heart to humankind so that we would be drawn to him and could know him. His life, miracles, teaching, death, and resurrection have given a glorious revelation of the Father. Through his Word we can see the Father accurately in his splendor, love, grace, and light.1

Instead of complaining that God has hidden himself, you should give him thanks for having revealed so much of himself.
