Reflecting on God’s Word . . .

Psalm 9:9-10 NLT

The LORD is a shelter for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. Those who know your name trust in you, for you, O LORD, do not abandon those who search for you.

Reflection . . .

What do we do or who do we go to when we are in trouble? Is our first response to pray, to go to the Lord and ask for His help, or read His Word?

We know the name of the Lord, we know that God is for us! We know that His Word is true, that He provides for our needs! We know that if we seek Him he will reveal himself to us, that if we ask, He will show us the way!

Let’s not forget that we can find strength, wisdom, and help for God’s Word. Let’s take the time each day immersing ourselves in His Word, discovering what it has for us, searching for Him!

Your word is a lamp to guide my feet

and a light for my path.
