Reflecting on God’s Word

Sunny day in the mountains of Huitzilan, Puebla

Psalm 25:4-5 NLT
Show me the right path, O LORD; point out the road for me to follow. Lead me by your truth and teach me, for you are the God who saves me. All day long I put my hope in you.

Reflection . . .

Often we forget to ask the Lord to show us the right path to take and the road to follow. All of the Psalms are a tribute to the Law of the Lord (Psalm 1), meditating on it and letting it guide our path (Psalm 119:105). It requires of us an engagement in God’s Word, a meditating on it and a deep desire to put it into practice, let it shape and form our very lives. We place our hope in God because He is a God who saves, who redeems, who teaches us. Let’s make a habit out of being in God’s Word every day, reflecting on it so that God’s Word can guide us. We place our hope in God all day long by making a habit of learning from His Word and putting it into practice.
